I was born on May 8, 1987 at a hospital in Queens, New York. When I was 6, my family moved to Long Island. When I was 10 or 11, I can't exactly remember, we took a trip down to Philadelphia to see the Liberty Bell. I snapped the first photograph that I can remember taking there, and had been interested in photography ever since. When I was 18, I decided to continue my education in art by applying to the Fashion Institute of Technology's. Two years later, I completed their photography program and received my associates degree. I decided to continue on at the State University of New York, New Paltz for my Bachelors of Fine Arts. From September of 2008 to the present, I have worked as a lab assistant in the photography department at SUNY New Paltz. In February of 2009, I participated in the group show “Public/Private” at the Calumet Gallery in New York City. I will be receiving my BFA in December of 2009.
