A Brief Artist Statement..

I am a documentary photographer and I'm interested in the human condition. In the past I've mostly worked with musicians; for the last four years I have been putting together a project about the lives of people traveling in hardcore bands. I like to work with people, I'm a self-proclaimed "people watcher" and can spend hours analyzing the actions of those around me. Almost all of my work deals with human interaction in some way -- whether it's portraits, surveillance or passing along cameras to strangers and creating a chain, I find myself working at my best when I'm surrounded by people.
